Luncheon Group – Wednesday, 15th July 2026
Our next lunch will be at 12.00 noon for 12.30 on Wednesday, 15th July, at the Star Inn, St Erth. The cost is £19 per person and the menu is attached. Please pay on arrival with cash or credit card, and we will do a collection for the tip at the meal.

PENLEE PARK OPEN AIR THEATRE – 7.30 pm on SUNDAY, 13th SEPTEMBER 2026
I am planning to book some tickets for THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE at Penlee Park Open Air Theatre. The cost of the tickets is £18.50 each and this is non-refundable (unless the show is cancelled, which is very unlikely – it went ahead in a downpour last year).
Hayle u3a is not providing transport so you will need to meet us at the venue, although we might be able to arrange a lift for anyone without transport.
Please let me know if you would like to go, and let me have your £18.50 to secure your place by the end of July (cash if possible please, as we have to pay bank charges on any cheques).
WE WILL ROCK YOU – REGAL THEATRE, 2.30 pm on SATURDAY, 21st NOVEMBER
This is a show for all fans of Queen music and is being performed by Redruth Amateur Operatic Society – anyone who went last year to see Joseph will know how talented the members are and how professional the show was, and I am sure We Will Rock You will be just as good.
We are subsidising the tickets, and they will be £20 each to Hayle u3a members. We have booked 20 tickets, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so please let me know if you want to put your name down, and pay me the £20 (in cash please) to secure your ticket by the end of September. The money is non-refundable as we have already paid it out.
I will run a reserve list if we have more than 20 people who want to go.
Hayle u3a is not providing transport to the Regal Theatre at Redruth and will meet everyone there but we might be able to arrange a lift for anyone without transport.
