We are a friendly group of mixed ability men and women, so beginners or  more experienced artists are welcome.

Watercolours, acrylic, watercolour pencils are used, members can use their favourite medium, occasionally, with the help of a tutor, encaustic wax is used.

Apart from the wax members provide their own equipment. Many are happy to help by sharing their chosen medium.

In addition to the U3A costs we pay £3 at the beginning of each month to go towards an experienced artist to tutor us.

Never picked up a paint brush since school ? Then come and join us, you will be surprised how quickly you will learn lots of tips to produce a picture you will be pleased with, plus enjoy the company of like minded people.
